EcoPoD

Specialized in technical project management and consultancy & through a selective network of professionals Compopack(r) offers full turn-key machines for tea, herbal mixtures and coffee. Compopack srl was founded in 2020 by two veteran's Steve Lowe & Marco Verri. One of the many activities undertaken, they have developed the project EcoPoD(r) that subsequently has won prizes in Italy and abroad and consists in the creation of production processes and products that are capable of significant reduction in their environmental impact specifically in the food and beverage industries (hosts or capsules more commonly known under umbrella term of coffee pods).  This sophisticated technology package, is the logical progression of many years of study and research that today is embodied in a product and service offerring to the coffee world capable of real significant reduction of environmental impact and a defence against incoming Plastic Tax norms that will shortly become fixed pre-requisites for operators in Italy as they already are in manu other European countries inline with international regulations outlined in the "UN Agenda 2030".

Compopack's(r) patented technology, EcoPoD(r), allows manufacturers, in the most extreme case, to completely eliminate the problem of material separation whilst retaining the (form, function) of the portioned serving via personalized erogators: in this way transforming an apparently irresolvable problem into a market opportunity hitherto reserved only for the Market Leaders.

This know-how is not limited to the food & beverage industries, pilot projects are underway to experiment in other sectors using the same tried and tested engineering driven process with a logic to driving the eco-agenda in a market driven Brand Value driven perspective whilst maintaining as much as possible a "Made In Italy - Made in Emilia-Romagna" a concept close to the heart of both founders.
