Revolution in the world of modified atmosphere packaging

BMB srl, a company from Molina di Malo (VI) specialized in the development and production of vacuum packaging machinery, has patented a new automatic packaging machine which guarantees oxygen residues of less than 0.01% through the creation of the vacuum and the subsequent introduction of inert gas directly into the package.

Up to date, for MAP and Gas packaging, customers have relied on two technologies: horizontal machines that work with gas flushing saturating the package with gas to push the oxygen out of the package but not from the product and semi-automatic chamber machines that create a vacuum before inserting the gas into the package, guaranteeing results but low productivity.

BMB has developed a revolutionary solution that exploits the principle of chamber packaging machines and drastically reduces production times by tripling the average packaging productivity but above all it guarantees a constant oxygen residue on all packages with values lower than 0.01%, synonymous with absolute quality and processing safety.

The new Conveyor MAP, an automatic packaging machine for MAP, is in fact equipped with a conveyor belt and a vacuum chamber equipped with various nozzles for gas injection.

The packaging machine finds special application in the packaging of bakery products, fresh and filled pasta, sandwiches, pizzas and pizza bases.
